So I'm in the market for 4 new tires. Size for my vehicle: 195/60R15 (might go 205/60R15)

Please make some recommendations for brands and dealers.

My budget is in the $2400 to $2700 range and I looking to sporty type tires.

Once time we can discuss what tires are best for our local roads ad vehicles.

Well I can recommend nexen cp672 for our road conditions offhand. Did some reading up on it and it's actually made for our climate. If you south side you can check on nave road for some cheap tires and Duncan village as well

Nice to know the reviews about the tire purchasing.I also purchased the tire for my work shop many time.I usually used eBay to purchase the tires for vehicles. Its the best option and also manageable.

wasnt buying the tires off ebay more costly than purchasing them down here???

Same thing i want to know, Can you give us a rough estimate on the cost because i would like to purchase tires online as well.

Do you buy in bulk? Or just sets of 4/5 because im thinking that buying and importing tyres would be more costly than buying locally, even if its brand name high quality tyres wouldn't it amount to a greater cost?

Ofc if I'm wrong you know I'm ordering tyres from you now lol

I can honestly say the Nexen SU4 is a good tyre. Very quiet and isn't prone to cracking like the older models. I know the OP is looking for sporty types but these were $400 for a 225/30/r17 around there.

I cannot recommend: Saliun Atrezzo... it was found that these tyres were cracking to the inner sides upon changing, tyres were used for the duration of their life span and never sat without being on the car. They also made a ton of noise... won't recommend.

No man its very easy to buy tires on eBay and its not very costly. It depends upon the quality which you take so the price is according to the quality.

How much would it cost to import tyres for personal use?

^^Last i heard of tires was to avoid importing... Mad racer you have any pics of how how much customs charge you to clear by chance or give us a average please.........

Yeah ia ma lso here for it to tires importing. Its costly now but in a good time my dad import the tires on a manageable price.

I'm may need to buy new tires in a couple months. Right now I'm running Roadstone N1000 and they seem to handle alright. Never had any slipping with them.

I'm looking to get Dunlop DZ102 next. They are available in your price range locally and have decent reviews online.

i gone back too bridgestone ahhh i missed them i move back away from them cheap brand lol

I wish I was rich like you Grim, factory Bridgestone Duelers are some really nice tires but at $1800 or so for 1 tire, ah go stick with meh Roadstone or something.

hahaha im not rich lmao just had a choice to make trust me i would of save about 700$ if i had gone with the other brand but i say lemme do it right yes lol.....and roadstone is a good brand also i used to use those before but i think the were stopped being produce, i could be wrong

The roadstone tires I have are ok. They are a bit noisy and despite the best efforts of the wheel place they just can't seem to balance it properly. At the end of the day it's always a good idea to buy the best tires you can. It's the only thing connecting you to the road.

Tires and oil are two things to never skimp money on.

Tires, oil and brake upgrades lol.

Been using a set of Falken ZEIX 3 since 2010. Put 80,000kms on them and they still have decent thread left in them. Only thing was they made the steering resistance increase but that was also helped with the bigger rims too. Dont really like the geometry with the bigger wheels at all.

Dam, 80K on one set of tires? I normally get 30k out of mine (don't talk for bikes). That's some falken good tires there.
