Police were up to last night searching for a 21-year-old woman who was abducted during a robbery at her Palmyra home early yesterday morning. The men who kidnapped Melissa Bisnath told her husband that they were taking her in case he gave them the wrong PIN number of his bank card, police said. The abductors escaped in the man’s white B15 Nissan Sentra which was not recovered up to late yesterday.
A police report stated that around 5.15 am Bisnath and her husband Ronald Gitta, 45, a car salesman, had just returned to their Palmyra Village, Ste Madeleine, home. As they were entering their bedroom, they were confronted by two men, one armed with a gun.
