wow it came out already, will be downloading it tonight for sure. Yes that movie was based on the ending of the manga and it should explain who fell in love with who before they have children .

I kinda of give up on anime these days, they are not making it how it was like long ago. Over to much of copying and childish nonsense, then again the childish nonsense will always be their yes.
