There will be no surrender tonight. If the United States want three points from their 2010 World Cup qualifying match against Trinidad and Tobago's Soca Warriors they will have to battle hard for them.

The teams clash from 7.11 tonight in a CONCACAF qualifier at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Port of Spain. And once the Warriors have a mathematical chance of reaching South Africa next year, T&T head coach Russell Latapy is still urging his players to win their three remaining qualifiers, starting against the USA, followed by Costa Rica away (October 10) and home to Mexico (October 14).

Trinidad and Tobago and the United States meet for the 21st time since 1982, a series dominated by the Americans who have won 15, lost two and drawn three.

T&T have already met the Americans three times this qualifying campaign, winning 2-1 against a second-string US line-up last October. The Warriors suffered two heavy 3-0 defeats away to their arch-rivals, who stopped them from going to the 1990 World Cup, when the T&T Strike Squad needed just a point but lost 1-0.

there was a great improvement in the team's performance however due to a simple mistake made in defense we conceded a goal. The team in my opinion needs to work on finishing and need to strengthen their defense. Abu Bakr and Edwards both did very well.
 
I did not see the match but the USA statement was really proven here, i wonder if they will remove the coach again for the teams bad plays, lol
 
Not really.....their statement just showed how stupid they are. T&T really should have won that match. As I said before the guys need to work on finishing and better teamwork. Glen missed quite a few opportunities on goal, as well as many other players. USA in my opinion fought extremely hard to get that win, and they had reason to. The Soca Warriors put out a serious effort this time from beginning to almost end, much of which was led solely by Carlos Edwards. We had majority possession up until a couple minutes before USA scored.

WC 2014
Once the team develops well they will have a strong chance, however, if they sit on their aszes and do not train constantly from now we will be in a mess again. Experience brings confidence, confidence helps players score goals, goals win games!
 
Do we still have a chance of getting in, i know we were suppose to win all 3 matches but last time jack warner helped us i wonder if we still have a chance
