New ambulance number dial 811 EMS Ambulance

811 is the new number that connects you with the EMS (formerly EHS) Dispatch center. 624-4343 and 653-4343 remain in effect until testing complete.

811 joins the list of numbers for emergency services.

It works on both bMobile and Digicel networks. Landlines are in final stages of testing/completion.

999/911 - Police Emergency
990 - Fire Service / Ambulance

I think i'm very curious as u are but i never heard or have I had an opportunity to try it....

my brother works for the EHS company who is providing emergency help under contract with the goverment. They already get emergency calls on this number

ok once the system is working..... Rau Cous does your brother tell u about any graphic incident he had experience... I been in an ambulance twice and it really was not a cool drive...

Not much lol unless its something that comes over the news. He used to talk about it but maybe he's gotten used to it. or he doesnt want to freak us out... maybe he thinks we wont want to know. lol.

Maybe they changed it for a more easier number to remember!!! Jus a though....
