hey guys. i'm looking at buying a kia rio direct from southern sales and i'd like a bit of feedback. any owners on yet? i know most parts readily available and some of the major parts are firm price.
how reliable are they and how long they last are owner dependent i know but i'd still prefer not to get a lemon

Well its not the new model. Actually its from the used car division. 5-6 years old. Probably end of lease cars.

Op what i look into when buying a car...resale value...available of parts in future and price...how much bitches u gonna get in it?

And thats how sonygoup chooses a car :D

LOL my family has a several Kia's and from what i've seen myself is that parts are CHEAP and easy to find these days due to the amount of people buying them. It does not give trouble once maintained properly. The resale value for them are very low but is increasing now due to the quality of their present vehicles being released on the market.. So once its maintained you good to go

Was going for the 2014 but my contract doesn't qualify me for the seven year repayment. Well actually I was trying to search strut bars and lowering springs for it. Already have lightweight rims. Tinting is a must (70% clear heat reflective). That's all for now. Don't need the noise of a barrel but may put an intake. Like my car to be a q- ship or sleeper as they say. Right now my corolla runs 172k flat out. It's 24 years old with the original engine in it. Stock intake, exhaust (except that annoying tip I got it with). Hoping the Rio doesn't bore me though

So an update on the process of getting a car. The car that I was interested in at southern sales happens to be a very well fixed crashed car. Finally got the service history. Every time the car went for service the left front tire was changed. Repairs to the entire left side was done. Car was repainted as well as radiator changed. So now I'm waiting on others to come in for me to look at.

You should consider other options... A very good delux vehicle for $120,000 (RORO) is the Nissan Teana...

Trust me... These vehicles are beast not to mention its performance on our type of roads... VERY comfortable and the parts easy to aquire...

If I could afford such vehicles I'd already have one. I'm working with a budget and Japanese cars aren't my first choice. I prefer Volvo actually.

Parts last longer. At least from what I personally know. All I've known growing up was Volvo. From the 100 series, 200 series, 700 series and now my dad has a s80.

Guess I'm going to start looking at the possibility of going foreign used instead of local. But I'm still waiting

Sometime waiting is good to see if a better choice comes along. Foreign used vehicles also have a better resale value if you planning to sell in the future and upgrade, however if you have bad roads and alot of distance to travel daily then a longer lasting vehicle might be feasible..BUT THEN if parts need changing there's the price of parts to consider vs. foreign used

So I've finally got an 09 Rio waiting. Got the invoice today. Let's see what the bank says

Kia Rio is a Good car and its specifications are also awesome and look is very luxurious. With this its mileage is perfect and its good for teh daily drive.I like it so much.
