Chutney Soca Monarch(CSM) Results

So what do you guys think about the latest CSM results?

Honestly I'm a bit disappointed and leaning to the point of bribery as I've heard every single song , and viewed the performances of each artist and quite frankly yes the alliance between Rikki jai and Ravi b was great, their song was lacking ... It was just another one of those songs that has no set of real beat to it.

KI Persad performance was very good! I'm pleased that he put a lot of effort into it! Disappointed that it gave him only 2nd place ,but that's just my opinion.


As for the rest in the CSM they were okay and I couldn't really take them on, the real competition was with Rikki, Ravi and KI



As for the traditional

How did Ravi and Rikki manage to pull off 1st?

They manage to beat Rasica Dindial and Rakesh Yankaran? What going on here ,something really fishy here.

Either Trinidad loosing taste in traditional Indian music and Dow know what or who the hell to vote for.

Or it was biased voting.

Honestly I could see how they beat rooplal g but how both rooplal and the alliance beat the golden group of traditional performers?


That's beyond me!

Did not know this was yesterday and i do believe that cheating does be involve for Rikki Jai. kinda of getting fedup of of chutney because the amount of nonsense they are singing so if i have to listen to it i will stick with my oldies of Indian music.

And too add what i said in the first line that i posted the i'm sure that Rakesh Yankaran should have won, at the moment no one could touch his singing talent, but the people today only like rum songs so they would vote for their favorite RUM SINGERS.

I don't even watch these things anymore but i cannot say i am surprised. Bribery will always be in these competitions from long ago to current. Ravi B & Rikki Jai teamed up this year to win apparently. What people always say "Two is better than 1 " :/

And @admin I'm just as surprised as you are , they seem like they bought a lot of votes there!

And as for the traditional chutney I still can't believe rakesh lost ,he's the raja ,the king, how can he not win that?
