Well the season of fetes, costumes, excitment, calypso, chutney, and many many more are here once again.... What do you think is the best part of Carnival...

Well the best part is the liming part lol people don't really work around that time so its alot of rum and food lol

besides the days off i would be getting, i love a good river lime, beach, those stuff..... i'm not into the jumping up thing

Well i not going any carnival parade this year mainly because me and kevin fall out and the wife does find i does lime and drink too much lol so home for me lol

Lol well i dunno wah goin on this year mainly cuz Ryo wudn't be there, crime and i really nuh interested in going down d road anymore..A good beach lime wud be fun :icon_lol:

The season already start out with bacannal in the national chutney... According to the news the semi finals result was unfair so said some of the competitors who protested at the headquarters of the National Chutney Foundation.... One being adesha Samaroo who did not qualify for the semi.... He said some of the others who got placed in the semi did not even have good lyrics and the other stuff they judge on to qualify for the semi... While those who did not qualify paid so much money on costumes and presentation. They say it was unfair... But the judges stand by their decisions...

THE STREETS of the capital city Port-of-Spain were flooded with colour and revelry yesterday as the launch of Carnival 2011 was declared by Minister of Arts and Multiculturalism, Winston “Gypsy” Peters.

Scores of spectators, including foreigners were seen gathered at Woodford Square taking photographs and video coverage of the street procession, which commenced shortly before 3 pm from Woodford Square, Port-of Spain.Spectators and carnival lovers were also entertained by Indian cross-over band Dil-E-Nadan Orchestra, Super Blue, Black Stalin, Shadow, JW & Blaze, Roy Cape All Stars and the Pamberi Steel Orchestra.
