Body language... how to read

You know they say more than half of what people say is nonverbal. That alot of what people are communicating shows up in thier body language? Is this true and can you use it to your advantage?... like to find out if the chick you trackin feelin you or not?. I've been reading up on it and apparently you can... alot of communication happens subconsciously of if you knew what to look for you could almost tell what people thinking...
What do you think is this for real or is it all crap..

well how i know someting's wrong wit meh hottie is wen i kiss her.........wen we meet we kiss.......I'll kno if someting is bothering her.........the good ting is she's also my best friend and we can talk about anyting.......and as much as I try to hide wen I havin a shitty day she knows.......I guess she knows me .....

oohh so it is that easy to observe... i'm really illiterate with non verbal communication.. so i'll read up on this some more....
