This one is quite motivational. A lot of people do not succeed as they wish with certain things and allow that to loom over their heads and deem themselves as failures. As long as you can try again tomorrow (another way, another place, etc) it's not the end, just a continuation or new chapter.

Its true for most things in life but to be honest, I feel nothing can replace a death or a permanent decision, both of which are variables these days in the long term anyway with how quickly we change.

Agreed. When it comes to death, personally, I tell myself there's nothing I can do to bring back the person. I cherish the good memories I had with them and I choose to do something in their honor that I believe will make a difference somehow, even if it's on a small scale just for me. That way, their being still resonates with me in a positive way and I turn the despair of their permanent absence into something more positive and uplifting to remember them by. Permanent decisions can be just as painful to deal with, but I don't believe there's ever enough of a reason for someone to stop trying/fighting or feel that they're backed into a corner with no way out. There must be some kind of information somewhere out there to help with whatever the issue is or find a way to use that situation to their advantage; they just haven't found it yet. Every day is indeed another chance to do better, learn more, get that information, take that step, etc.

"Anyone can deal with victory. Only the mighty can bear defeat."

-Adolf Hitler

Lol. I'll take this one to heart. I've had wins which were awesome to experience, but sometimes the circumstances surrounding defeats and the number of them just feel like they knock your feet out from under you. Sometimes it can be an insanely difficult struggle to overcome certain defeats. It's easy to fall; not so much to get back up. This is a humbling point for those times.

ONE I LOVE FOR THE INDEPENDENT LADIES :D

Updated! Should I do more quotes a day? How does 2 instead of 1 sound?

I wouldn't mind two a day at all. I love these quotes!

Updated! Loved these two quotes by Mother Teresa so I just had to post them.

28/01/2015:

"Peace begins with a smile."

"Kind words can be short and easy to speak, but their echoes are truly endless."

-Mother Teresa

Love them! Very true heartfelt reminders from the ever wise Mother Teresa.

Updated! New quotes would now be in GREEN TEXT so it would be easier to see while scrolling. Tell me what you think about these two.

Swami know what's up!! Really nice quotes for this day and age

That last quote, we need more of that. People are too sensitive these days but not in the right ways.

Updated. The first one is very thought provoking.. Said by a man who is responsible for the death of over 40 MILLION people.

Osho on the other hand is a very cool, wise man. A man of Zen.

"One death is a tragedy, a million is a statistic."

-Joseph Stalin

"Life begins where fear ends."

-Osho

Stalin: quite sad, but very true and revealing pattern of our mentality.

Osho: True, and very easy to forget lol
