There are different types offered when buying a sedan of a specific make. Companies offer different sedan types for target marketing and customer satisfaction to please everyone out there..What's your sedan type or types?? Feel free to add more if i left out any

A. Four Door- Original Sedan style

B. Two Door- Used for sports models . E.g Kia Cerato > Kia Cerato Koup

C. Notchback Sedan - A notchback sedan is a three-box sedan, where the passenger volume is clearly distinct from the trunk volume of the vehicle (when seen from the side). The roof is on one plane, generally parallel to the ground, the rear window at a sharp angle to the roof, and the trunk lid is also parallel to the ground. E.g Chevy Impala

D. Fastback- A fastback sedan is a two-box sedan, with continuous slope from the roof to the base of the decklid, but excludes the hatchback feature.

E. Hatchback sedans- Hatchback sedans typically have the fastback profile, but instead of a trunk lid, the entire back of the vehicle lifts up. A vehicle with four passenger doors and a liftgate at the rear can be called a four-door hatchback, four-door hatchback sedan, or five-door sedan. E.g Mazda 3 Hatch, Subaru Impreza Hatch etc.

F. Comfort/ Luxury Model- Model of vehicle built for comfort and luxury..Interior is spacious and has alot of interior gadgets built for relaxation while driving

G. Sport Model- Exterior and engine specifications slightly differs from comfort/original model..Some models comes in 2 door or 4 door and interior changes e.g leather bucket seats. Has choices of manual or automatic.

I prefer four door sports models. Maybe when i have a family of my own i might gear towards the Comfort/Luxury models.

B. Two Door- Used for sports models . E.g Kia Cerato > Kia Cerato Koup me right there all the way!!!!!!!!!!! 2 doors for the win! theres also a saying to go along with 2 door cars, but its rather inappropriate lmao :D

Does drive a two door- sport model on a weekly basis and i love it . Our family uses it for individual errands and it feels comfortable knowing it has two doors. Sometimes i even forget it has a back seat lol. One thing i hate is when you have a 3rd passenger and you have to keep on sliding the seats and adjusting it back LOL

hahaha yes the sliding forward and backwards of the seats is very annoying, you can never really get the perfect seating position for long. Unless you really leave it as a 2 door, no-one is allowed in the backseats lmao like LadyDeath GT with some speed dey hahah rell fyahhhzzz yuh pushing? LOL

Hahaha just be careful on the roadways, seeing an increase in accidents these days!

That's a really nice car, is quite comfortable and reliable, not to mention the speed when you need it lol but my uncle has one and its honestly one of the best cars out there as a daily driver

Yes, it really is. By far the best car I have owned. Before this was a Mazda 323 BJ model and a Nissan Sentra B15.
My Lancer is CVT, which people tend to want to stay away from, but it is extremely efficient and fuel friendly. Also, the power is there when I need it.

hahah thats great man! CVT is actually quite resourceful! My mother has a CVT primera

Hyper CVT M6 to be exact!

yea man it really does!

i just need to do some serious repairs, previous owner do some serious damage to the car, and we did not purchase the car, my father bought it so we had no clue the damage that was done

major works in progress!

Wow well I learned something there!

Technically, a coupe is defined as a fixed-top car with less than 33 cubic feet of rear interior volume. Typically a car with less than 33 cubic feet of rear interior volume has only two doors, hence the common practice of associating two doors with the term “coupe.” However, there are plenty of vehicles out there which have only two doors but more than 33 cubic feet in the rear. These cars, while their manufacturers may call them coupes, are technically two-door sedans. A few examples of two-door sedans are the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, Mercedes CL-Class, Chevy Monte Carlo, and surprisingly, the Mazda RX-8 (although that’s a bit of a different story.)

Coupe vs. Sedan - What's the Difference?

Like most, I always associated Coupe with 2 doors and sedans with 4 doors but now I see how it really works!

That's like the Skyline GT-R R34 and R35. They are both two door vehicles but they are not coupes.

Make sense. Never knew that before.

I have a Subaru Impreza Anesis
1.5L 2wd
First scooby I wver owned so I purposely went with the simplest version. if this car hold up well the plan is to upgrade in the future.

Now that i am getting older..i am thinking about buying a Wagon type vehicle. Reason :

- Transport things
- Groceries
- Errands
- Rescuing Animals
- Good To Sit at the back of :D
- Nice for children in the future

Do I hear somebody saying WRX STi there? :D

As per what LadyDeath was saying, the older I get the more I see the value and practicality of my mid sized truck and more so a full sized variant like an f250 or 1500 Ram or even a Sierra.
The need and desire to transport large objects and 3 people with high reliability and low maintenance really make it worthwhile in addition to the safety and what I like to consider less compromise space wise.

With a deck lid its just like having a huge trunk, a major bonus when its time to transport material for hobbies and otherwise.

However the desire to restore a classic comes to mind. Would a Porsche 356 be considered a Coupe or a Sedan by the guidelines?

^^ Just get a Kia 2700 or a H100 LOLL :p

I get accustomed to driving the Nissan Ad for awhile for errands and the Wagon Make seem like a good fit for me . Might consider an SUV too due to the height
