what is an appropriate time to start dating?

What you mean by date? You mean searching for a life partner or hunting for sex?
Technically everytime you go out with a group of friends its a date. Every social event is potentailly a date. Everyday occurences cause you to interact with and get to know others better.
Exclusive dating I'd say the teens, even though some parents freak out cuz they think thier kids might have sex, but some teens are fully capable of having stable mature relationships. Parents really need to know thier children though, its always better when the parents know- too many kids have gfs and bfs even gfses and bf.es while hidin it from thier parents... that not cool. They lookin for early pregnancy.
Courting for marrige I'd say mid to late twenties, or earlier, but by then thier brains should be fully mature and thier desison making will be intune... oh year and less hormornal. People that age are more self reliant and independant and wont have to rely on glues like sex or obessive compulsive calling to hold the relationship together.

i tink around the age of 15-16. its al about how mature the persons are. they bout hv 2 be more or less in d same level of maturity becuz if one partner is more experience den things wud b heated up dey wud wan 2 experiment. look primary skool kids knw prob more dan me. they knw bout sex n porn n ting, parents are exposing there kids 2 dese things. parents play a very important role 2day but i tink around 15-16 is an appropriate age. Yeah if its someone you know since childhood and ya'll families know each other you could start around those ages. You could even be dating and not know it. lol Resha. I hate the classical concept of a date, too structured not enough room for spontaneity. There are more efficient ways to get to know people lol. like stalking.. jus kiddin. I think lining is really a better word... it means hang out?

Well i wud say that at an age where they are mature enough to handle any decisions that come their way cuz when u in a relationship their are countless things that can happen. I WOULD NOT Specify an age..Its up to how responsible and mature they are but ONE thing that i wud suggest is for teens to explore and experience before they get caught up in a relationship i mean not bad things like sex jus experience hanging out with friends and so on bcuz when u get closer to a person and u are together their are alot of sacrifices to be made. I DONT AGREE WITH RAUCOUS WHEN U SAID THAT ITS NOT COOL FOR SOMEONE TO NOT TELL THEIR PARENTS ABOUT THEIR BF OR GF. I know that u shud be totally honest to your parents,tell them about you life, incase of something happen they know that you are with the person. But in some cases parents are strict and they don't understand how u are feeling towards someone, you cannot help your feelings for someone and they just dont want you to talk to the opposite sex.sure they are trying to protect you but experiencing and going for what u feel is also a choice for you. they are not living a life for you and sometimes also forget they were young and knows how it feels to be a teenager..so yea thats my point !

Oh yeah some parents are evil... that sucks. Ok since we wont specify an age because maturit is independent of it should there be an age difference limit? Can an extremly mature 11 yr old date or deal or whatever., a 16 year old or... you know where this going. lol

Well i saw a 12yr old with a 27 yr old seriously i cannot see how things wud work out for someone who has quite alot age difference..for me i say for the most 5yrs apart and thats it...But i mean men them ages only there with young girls for their own benefits :icon_surprised:

karina is right...those guys who is like twice the age of a girl is only after sex.... And nothing more... But how could a girl at that age seriously think that a guy at that age jus wants to be bf and gf!!! I guess if she only want the same thing too.....

i have to say that i agree with Karina...while some people may find it easy to talk 2 their parents about any and everything, some girls jus cant. especially bout a fella..dey parents go trip, an it doe matter to dem how old u r or how long yall knw each other or anything like that. they decide...this person is of d opposite sex so he hav no right to be talkin to my daughter...some parents duz tink like dat...and while i agree dat izza messed up way of thinkin i hada say that i agree with some of them jus knowin fellas today u really cant blame some parents.
