website for updated high res satellite images or live

Hi there i live in the usa. I'm syrian from a town called harasta near the capital of syria. The town is practically destroyed from government shelling and rebels using it as a hideout.
I just wanna know if my house is still standing or is it demolished like many others. Is there a website for this .. I can't go there I'll get killed

It's not that high of a resolution and the picture will be a bit dated. I don't know of anywhere that would give a real time high res satellite photo. Sorry.

Google Earth may provide some information for you as well. Other than that combination I can't really think about anything else.

Google Earth is useless. the image is very pixelated . can't tell if it's ruins or a building
