Using Japan as an example, They are one of the vehicle producing countries of the world. When these vehicles are newly released they are bought by citizens of their country and within 2-3 years they are sold as newer models are created. These vehicles are then arranged in car lots to be shipped off to other countries such as the Caribbean.
When a vehicle reaches an age that is too derelict to operate , they are sent to junk yards. Vehicles that were also in accidents, written off or unclaimed, together with those in the junk yards are fixed to working condition and sent to countries such as Africa, Gambia, Nigeria etc.
