a suicidal person may give a sign or hint in some way that they plan to attempt suicide.....dey feel helpless.....Unimportant...Trapped.....Unmotivated.....Completely alone......could dis death have been prevented.....

Shilpa Leo of Jackson Street, Curepe....17 yrs is dead and her boyfriend Kaydeen Rampersad 17 years old, lives at Huggins Street, Tacarigua....is in a critical condition at hospital up to yesterday evening after they both ingested a poisonous substance on Thursday afternoon......Police said they believe that the teenagers may have consumed the substance after their relationship was met with objections from relatives.
They were both pupils at El Dorado North Secondary School, said police.
Investigators said at around 3.15 p.m., Rampersad's relatives heard a scream coming from a room located along the northern side of his home.
Upon entering the room, police said the boy's relatives found him and the girl lying on the ground, with both of them frothing from the mouth.......Rampersad, police said, also had a cut to one of his wrists......

Mindy McCready 37 yrs...was found dead of an apparent suicide.....she had been having a rough month after the January death of her boyfriend....David Wilson...who died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound on Jan. 13....the singer had 2 sons....Zander 6 yrs and Zayne 9 mths.....also on sunday She shot and killed her dog before taking her own life...2 other dogs were found at McCready’s home uninjured....Mindy McCready’s final 24 hours on earth were some of her worst.....first shot was he dog and then herself on the same porch her boyfriend also killed himself. Neighbors reported hearing 2 shots and when Cleburne County deputies arrived, she was pronounced dead at the scene.......

what does influence people to kill themselves ...taking your life is one of the worst things that a person can do..just imagine how her sons going to grow up now ..motherless who didn't even thought they were important enough to live for !

Unfortunately we cannot stop people from committing suicides. If one wants to die he/she will find a way to die, I feel.

What we can do is, we can educate people not to commit suicide. Then it is up to people if they want to live or not.

Suicide is very common nowadays. People are too stressed out with their lives that they decide to end their lives.

I do not think we can stop people from committing suicide.

i think that we should but more counselling into schools of all levels . Stress, home issues , rape/molesting etc , depression , death of loved ones are too much for a person to handle and we need to educate them that suicide is not the best option and to always choose life !
