The Subaru Impreza is a compact automobile, manufactured since 1992 by Subaru—the automobile division of Japanese transportation conglomerate, Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI). Subaru introduced the Impreza as a replacement for the Leone, with the Leone's EA series engines replaced by the newer EJ series versions.
Now in its fourth generation, Subaru has offered four-door sedan and five-door hatchback body variants since 1992; the firm also offered a coupe from 1995 for the first generation only. Mainstream versions have received naturally aspirated "boxer" flat-four engines ranging from 1.5- to 2.5-liters, with the performance-oriented Impreza WRX and WRX STI models uprated with the addition of turbochargers. Since the third generation series, some markets have adopted the abbreviated Subaru WRX name for these high-performance variants. The first three generations of Impreza in North America were also available with an off-road appearance package titled Subaru Outback Sport. For the fourth generation, this appearance package became known as the Subaru XV, and is sold internationally. Subaru has offered both front- and all-wheel drive versions of the Impreza. Since the late-1990s, some markets have restricted sales to the all-wheel drive model—therefore granting the Impreza a unique selling proposition in the global compact class characterized by front-wheel drive. However, Japanese models remain available in either configuration

Some interesting history there, I've already read all about the impreza's history and the Legacy as well.

Do you think Subaru will ever make a turbocharged BRZ?

The Subaru brand is flying high, but the 2015 Subaru BRZ can’t get off the ground. What does Subaru need to do with the two-door sports coupe?

The news out of Subaru of America is nothing but spectacular except for the 2015 Subaru BRZ sports coupe. We’ll give you the good news first from the Japanese automaker, and then the bad news. Sales for Subaru of America are up 31 percent year-over-year, the new 2015 Legacy sedan had its best month ever, September was the best month for 2015 Outback, Forester and XV Crosstrek.
Nothing has changed, and that is the problemWhen the Subaru BRZ / Toyota GT86 / Scion FR-S sports coupes were launched in 2012, they were an instant hit with driving enthusiasts. The two-door rear-drive coupes were affordable and fun to drive. Nothing has changed, and that is the problem for BRZ. The sports car is still affordable, fun to drive and still comes with a 200 horsepower boxer powerplant. It had enough power to make it interesting in the beginning, but Subaru needs to bump up the hp now to keep it an attractive option and attract new buyers to BRZ.

I agree. Subaru needs to bump the HP and add a turbo. Lots of people have been calling for a turbo charged model. I know HKS makes a turbo kit for it but it'd be nice if they actually offered it from the factory with some new features too.

If I need parts I'll let you know but I don't own a Subie... Yet

Subaru presented good model from the recent years and i drive it different super models. Its good in drive but have to take some attention on the design to make them more impressive.

There's tons of ugrade parts and accessories to make them look more impressive or perform better.

I loved my Subaru. I had a 2004 WRX Sti V-Limited with a methanol kit . Was pretty badass ! Love the sound it made and would always remember that beauty! But for a girl, my parents didn't approve of my driving choices so i had to sell it . lmao!

never got to drive a wrx or wrx sti b4 probably have reasons for that lol but non the less mods for these cars are endless especially since it was all over the world

The reason is because grim is a Mitsubishi Man. He does not know about the Subaru awesomeness with his Lancer loving self xD.
