So the Parents of the dead teens want to know whet the guns are. Ummm Mommies, look on their FB pages and you would be directed to your answers. Not that you may not know already, but maybe you need to be reminded of what you were breeding OR encouraging. Should we be asking these rhetorical questions? Or shouldn't we be doing more as parents to avoid these circumstances. It's time we STOP LYING TO OURSELVES and START BEING HONEST! We are failing as a Nation and the Criminals are recruiting our little Children because the fast money and gangster life may be seemingly more attractive to them. It's time we start being better Parents and role models to our Children.

Wtf and the parents saying that their children are INNOCENT these blasted parent are benefiting when their children are stealing knowing they have firearms. The police were right to end their lives, Jullian Lucky you're a waste, you are always pointing fingers at the police and not digging deeper. I now made a quick look on facebook and i saw many pictures of the two children holding firearms.

I know to myself when i read this on the papers these children were not innocent. Which innocent 15 or 16 yr old teens post pics of themselves in gang clothing with guns... I am very sorry for the waste of human life but later down the road, menial crimes would of eventually turn out to be more serious

exactly @ sky, honestly i couldnt care less when these "innocent" children get shoot up , they enjoy that type of life , they live that type of life, they will die by that type of life. if you live by the sword, you shall die by it.

when the parents saying their child innocent, can we honestly say that? over 3/4 of the youth in trinidad today is being influenced by the wrong types of things. i can safely say this because i am a youth myself! and it disgusts me that this is the quality of the generation that is being raised today. PARENTS NEED TO PAY MORE ATTENTION TO THEIR CHILDREN OUTSIDE OF THE HOUSEHOLD!

i know it have parents who couldnt give a rats *** about their children and this is the life the children resort to because of the influence on them. SOME the rare few make better decisions and better their lives but the majority of them turn to crime! it is a easy way to get money as Jungle Jim said .

this is just the beginning as well! because the parents and children of our nation fail to realise that there are so many influential factors on us! from music. clothes , even down to religion, and the culture that you are raised with.

look i myself noticing a difference in society , things with my own mother that make me question where society is going today!
things that my mother let my little brother get away with, simple things like not washing the wares, or sweeping the yard, 10 years ago , if you didn't get up on a morning and sweep the yard,( in my time i also had to tie the goat and feed the chicken) i would have collected a dreddd cut*** the youth of today have to learn respect, authority and responsibility!!!!!! AND THE PARENTS ARE NOT TEACHING THEM THIS!

honestly i cannot imagine how much worse society can get from here on out

i might be talking chupidness, but this is my opinion of the state that we live in. and it is absolutely shocking and disgusting to think where trinidad has progressed over the past 10-15 years :shock: :cry:

The main thing i believe that caused this phenomenon is the removal of Corporal punishment. when i was younger and attending primary school and i playing the fool or did not do my home work is cut tail, i really believe this is what cause me to become the person today because if it was not for Corporal punishment i would be on the wrong path now.

Sad... Sad that the parents let their children live this kind of life... It was only a matter of time before they got what was coming to them... What i see it as, the 'kids' do the robbing and stealing and give to the parents... They probably were poor and that was a only mean of 'real' income.... Now they saying their innocent... Lol...

I is a youth (15). So I around all these 'innocent children' all day in school. Is a real shame to. Half of them parents does say that the school racial, don't like the child cuz dey poor, etc. Saying that d making them selves look like @$$.

Social media, parents influence in some cases, social acquaintances , so many different influential factors in society on children and not many people realise it[emoji29]
