Percy Sledge died in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Sledge died of natural causes,as he had been in hospice care for cancer, Clark added. There is no more additional information given just that he died. I grew up hearing his songs on the radio and my parents playing his cassette on a weekened. His songs would live on forever.
