I Got so fed up seeing this alleged "fried rat" in KFC that i felt nauseous everything i saw this thing came up.

It may have been rodent-shaped but tests have confirmed that the piece of chicken that was claimed to be a rat last week was actually chicken. Tests in an independent lab have apparently proved that the fried meat was definitely not a rodent, despite a customer?s claim to the contrary.

Devorise Dixon posted pictures of the fried meat from his three-piece meal that he?d bought in a Los Angeles branch of the fast food chain on Facebook and Instagram. Some people had already cried foul as one of the angles on the picture appeared to show white chicken meat. After tests confirmed the meat was chicken, Coronel has called on Dixon to ?apologise and cease making false claims about the KFC brand?. The company is also said to be considering legal action against Dixon.

See what people get for this ! Then again KFC is a worldwide franchise with alot of power. They can "easily pay off people to say it was not a rat"

To be honest, if it really is chicken, I would ask if i could have gotten it changed. I saw the picture and really and truly I would feel very upset if I ate anything shaped like a rodent.

lol i watched it and lol and carried on now the person who made the claims seems to have gotten himself in trouble

Yes he got in trouble because he wasn't 100% sure it was a rodent. Sometimes looks can be deceiving.

Me too i would not eat anything looking like that. I am glad he asked the manager, but if the manager was not sure then she should not of speculated it was a rat, when then made him to believe it was true.

i think the manager of the branch should also be in hot water, not just the boy alone.

True, if anything, the manager as an employee should have investigated further.

Yes because if the manager told the boy no they were not sure, the boy wouldn't of felt the need to post it over social media. If this happened to me and the manager told me yes it is a rat then i would of posted it on social media to alert the public too.

I hope that this is settled out of court though.

Well I really hope so too but its a matter of their employees looking further into things. AT least I see it that way.

lol manager probably aint answer cause they themselves couldnt have known the ans lol

I don't care what alyuh say and what that report said that's a blasted rat, anything that looks like that is a rat, have you ever seen chicken like that? KFC has to pay off someone so that they business can survive. Maybe i'm just trying to be cautious but after seeing in Trinidad one of the persons in the kitchen dropped a piece of chicken on the floor and put it back on the tray i real cautious.

Really have not had KFC in a long time. Would be best to keep that way too.

But i still suspicious ..because if we can get a fried chicken sack here in Trinidad , i can imagine if a rat jump in the bag and dead, they frying that too

LOLL! That is a possibility I guess. I don't know how it works but rats do get into spaces sometimes.

I saw the pic of the fried rat recently, I have have had experience in pest management including rodent control. It would be no surprise to me if the pic was actually real. Rats tend to stay close to its food source, and because of unsanitory conditions which I could imagine at Kfc Kitchens, it would be no problem for a roof rat or a norway rat to end up falling into batter and then being fried, or falling into the fryer. they are capable of climbing, jumping and they don't see very well, so let your imagination run wild.

Thats a good point there. Makes me wonder what else we arent aware off as far as improper sanitary conditions at fast food outlets.

So said , so done. Just look at the Chinese Outlets In Our Country

This is exactly what I would do if someone found rat in food that I sold them. Saying "sorry for the rodents" just doesn't seem like a good enough PR move.

By "independent lab tests"... who paid for the tests exactly?
