PC hardware maker, ASUS has released the first motherboard to utilize the all new Super-speed USB 3.0 standard. It's called Asus Xtreme Design P7DP55DE-E Premium. The board will come with 2 USB 3.0 ports, 10 USB 2.0 ports, 2 PCIe x16 slots, six 3Gb per second SATA ports, two 6Gb per second SATA ports and a pair of Gigabit Ethernet ports. ASUS claims that since the motherboard is able to make use of the 6GB per second SATA interface, super-fast transfer speeds can be achieved, with a 20GB High Definition movie file transferring in less than seventy seconds

The board will be shipped with Windows7 drivers. It will retail for about US$299.00 and will be available next month.

This is superb i waned to know who would a normal pc support the new Usb remember the previous thread, but a port clocking speeds of 6Gb per sec is unheard of and for just the price of 1800tt thats a great price. But what i want to know is what processer does this mother board supports intel or amd?

It's based on the P55 chipset, so it wil support intel. No word on an AMD version just yet. $1800tt is way too much to spend on a motherboard.
