Police Raid in Claxton Bay - Found Several Guns and Ammunition

This question is... are these events just PR stunts?
Who or What Body monitors the disposal of these guns/ammo found?
Can we as citizens feel assured that these guns are really "off" the streets?

My word. Look at these. One thing i surely know is these things are not disposed off in T&T. They are kept. But for what reason?

I have actually seen guns and drugs being returned to its "owners" by the police.
Seen it first hand.
I wanted people to be reminded that these busts don't make things any 'safer'. They are all just for show.
Stashes like these are never left so unguarded, exposed and vulnerable for police retrieval.
