Illegal Gun Trade From Venezuela

Due to Venezuela's declining economy and the drastic conditions that many citizens have to face on a daily basis, they have resorted to trading methods with close countries. Venezuelans have been trading illegal weapons such as guns, grenades, ammo etc. to Trinidadians in exchange for necessities such as Toilet Paper, Medicine, Food Stuff etc. Everyone knows this, even the police stations and coast guard, but why aren't they doing anything about it?

This is why we have an influx of weapons coming into our country. Something serious needs to be done about this! In a certain South village of Trinidad, the Venezuelans and Trinis meet to make exchanges and arrive to move their trades. Gangs have been coming to this village to collect their stuff and head back North. People say the Police know, but they are not doing anything about it.

There have been an influx of this to Suriname and Guyana too where drugs and guns are smuggled across the boarders. However, the countries have both acknowledged this unlike Trinidad.

If 144000 thousand can come in this country at any given time and no one does anything about it, guns and contraband will be easy to come in. We have a set of jokey people running this country.

Ian Alleyne has spoke about this too. Happening in the South areas where people are collecting guns and ammo even drugs in exchange for basic necessities. The govt havent said a word on this as yet. Why hasn't this made news yet??
