Some people are hustling around prioritizing gifts and others are going all out for decorations or food. There's always a tip or trick to make things easier, no matter what the occasion is. I figure this time of year, those tips and tricks are a blessing. What hacks do you swear by? Which new ones will really come in handy for you?

What hacks have you found?

Definitely quite useful hacks! I saw some of them on a YouTube channel already, I can't remember the name of it but I'll post it up if I can find it later

But these are very simple to do and saves allot of time and money!

How to make unwrapping easier for a neat freak/child who hasn't learned to rip or what to do if you have no tape:

Using your gift, measure how much gift paper you need to use as you normally would and cut as much as you need. Wrap the paper around your gift and at each spot you would normally place tape, choose one of the following:

a). Use glue instead

b). Use sewing pins to temporarily hold in place

c). Use a volunteer or two to temporarily hold each spot in place

To keep it in place, wrap with ribbon crossways. Make sure you're covering each flap down and then tie off with a bow. Remove sewing pins or friend's fingers and place under tree. Give volunteer cookies, frosting, and/or ice cream for their hard work. Have frosting for your hard work. The End.

Thank you all for the tips...really helping me atm wrapping xams presents and my two crazy cats want to rip everything apart lol

You can also use the glue gun to secure outdoor lights to brick; the glue is supposed to chip or scrape off the brick when you take down the lights.
