1. Posts are to be made in the relevant forums. Users are asked to read the forum descriptions before posting.
2. Members should post in a way that is respectful to other users. Flaming or abusing members in any way will not be tolerated.
3. Members are asked not to act as "back seat moderators". If members note an issue which contravenes something in our policy, they are welcome to bring it to the attention of a member of the Moderator Team by sending a detailed report using the link in the topics. Please do not respond to such topics yourself.
4. Members should remember this board is aimed at a general audience. Posting pornographic or generally offensive text, images, links, etc. will not be tolerated and will lead to a warning.
5. Warez, MP3's and copyright violation: Do not upload files or link to websites that host illegal content, also known as Warez. It violates copyright, and is equal to theft. It's also not allowed to discuss how to obtain this material, or how to disable any copy protection.
6. Members should respect the bandwidth of other users and sites. The use of inline () image tags pointing to data stored on third party systems for which the user has not received permission to link to may be removed. Eg http://photobucket.com/
7. Members should post in a way which is consistent with "normal writing". That is, users should not post excessive numbers of emoticons or large, small or colored text, etc. Similarly users should not SHOUT or use excessive punctuation (e.g. ! and ?) in topic titles or posts.
8. Members should use an appropriate, descriptive title when posting a new topic. Examples of bad titles include: "Help me!", "Why is that", etc. Additional titling rules may apply in some forums; they will be stated in the "How to Post" announcement of the forum. 9. The moderating, support and other teams reserve the right to edit or remove any post at any time. The determination of what is considered as indecent, vulgar, spam, defamatory content etc. as noted in these points is up to Team Members and not users.
10. The above forum rules where applicable also apply to private messaging. Abuse of the private messaging system may lead to warnings (as above) and/or the revocation of private messaging.
11. Pornography and 18+ material: This website is visited by people of all ages, including children. Because of this, we don't allow any material that is unsuitable for those below the age of 18. Additionally, we certainly don't allow Child Pornography. Failure to comply with that last item will result in a permanent ban from the entire website.
12. Signatures should not surpass 100KB in size nor greater than 200 pixels in height. Anyone with signatures exceeding these dimensions are asked to re-size or replace them.
13. When posting, avoid 1-4 word posts. This will not be tolerated as this is not a spam forum; if you are doing this just to increase your post count you will be warned.
14. This is an English website: write everything in English. You certainly don't have to use perfect grammar, but be sure that others can understand you i.e. don't use slang language like a chat room.
