Now coming back home from Chaguanas area, and i saw a line of vehicles at the side of the road at Brasso Tabaquite. i swear it was a wake or something like that and with my fast self i asked a man whats the problem here where he said that a 4 ton fish truck ran off the road into the river. So i parked and i video taped some of it. Btw the two occupants of the fish truck was injured and hospitalized, The two guys you are seeing in the video are just assisting the wrecker in wrecking the vehicle.

omg hope they'll be okay! You can never tell what can happen on a wet road at night. Hopefully there are no more accidents like this for a long, long time, if at all.

Wowww, wet roadways harbor another accident, I'm glad no one is dead, this could have been much worse. Ironic that the fishes ended up back in the river tho

What a sight... Gotta feel it for those guys, they're injured but they possibly lost their fish too.

3 Weeks now rain falling everyday. Too many accidents happening on our roadways especially because people are hurrying to get to their destinations. Admin you could of bring some fish for we too . Happy to know they are not dead and at the hospital. Christmas is coming soon and would hate if people lost their love ones this time of year. Be careful and always take your time in the night especially in rain

I'm kind of wondering how their employers will react to this.....not everyone is so understanding.

Most times employers wont really care about their position they are mainly concerned with the fact that they paid someone to crash their truck and destroy their stock.

Lady Death makes a good point. Its not like its been one day rain has been falling, it's everyday so to use the rain as an excuse wouldnt be a very good excuse if someone is following the speed limits or driving under it for that matter.

Exactly, I sympathize with these victims...but only if they were following the speed limit and driving safely. If they weren't, then all I'll say is that I'm happy they ended up in the river, rather than crashing into some innocent person or car.

I agree 100% with this. Its best they immobilize themselves for their foolishness than an innocent law abiding family in a little car.

Its appears they were speeding because they ran off the road about 7 meters before landing into the river, also i would not rule out driving under the Influx (can't be influence) of alcohol.

Sigh. All my sympathy gone now. Not that anyone deserves such an experience, but when you play with fire....

That corner is also very sharp! i hope they got a bad drive from someone than to be totally wasted and crashed their vehicle. Sometimes people take corners too wide and have the other head on traffic compensating for space!
Christmas is approaching i wonder how their families are taking the blow? Their livelihood might be in jeopardy

For one the employers might fire them or if keeping them, pull the loss from their salaries and/or give them a harder time about it and try to force them to leave so they don't have to pay unemployment.

Yes true. They won't have the same relations with their employer, if it was positive now it'll be totally inverted. The employer may go as far to take a large chunk of their salary.

Its sad but you know what, as christmas approaches there will only be more of these types of accidents. People get very caught up in things. Its a silly relation but i typically find that driving worsens around christmas time every year. Either due to DUI or other things.
Im unsure if to feel sorry for these guys and if they were drunk then there wouldnt be remorse because they did something bearing full awareness of the risks associated with drunk driving.

Sharp corner or not, once driving at a comfortable speed or rather a controllable speed their perception time + reaction time would be severely less which makes all the difference. Added to that, sometimes in really narrow spaces even a van needs to open out on corners but careful driving eliminates potential hazards before they can arise. A simple thing like going slow because youre unsure about how far away a pavement or curb really is ppl dont do and they prefer to swing out in the entire road and block oncoming traffic in very reckless ways with a boldface and ignorant attitude when people tip a horn or show them something.
