Cracked Side Mirror Replacement

Hey Guys my friend's left side mirror glass of her VW Golf was cracked due to someone on the opposite lane hitting it .

1. Where can she get a new mirror replaced
2. How much does it cost
3. Are there any alternatives ? I know there is a material to put over it temporarily until a new glass can be sourced.

There is a sticker which you can apply that should work. I've seen it selling in quite a few accessory and parts places. Some of them may even look just like the original but Im unsure of the longevity.

A new mirror can be sourced online for the fraction of the price of our local dealer. Just google the part number.

To find the part number, either google and be mindful as to whether the factory mirror has power folding functions and power adjustments.
