Everyone should be aware of the Classified ads in the Papers especially the Trinidad Express , their are alot of ads that are fake like job vacancies and car ads. Please read the Images and be aware.
This is madness to the highest level. This get so big now that it extends to enslaving our locals? To start with you do verify a place by its name and if it doesn't match the ad well something is wrong and it should trip the instinct sensor.
Good on her to get away and report it to the police one time. I just wonder if the police already knew about it considering it was walking distance away from the station.
People should be more serious as well if you are seeing a scanty advert any where especially the newspapers classifieds then why take the risk. If i see a advert with 5 or less words i'm not going to apply for that job because this is most likely a scam or a kidnapping scheme.
And yes people make sure you go with someone especially you females and tell someone exactly where you are going in case of anything going wrong.
Yeah that's true as well. Few words don't usually say much and I find it hard to believe that people would not walk away when they see the ad doesn't match the location as well. Employment sure is hard to get, criminals are now making quick work of this need for their benefit or uses.
Also, a quick call to know what sort of company it is won't hurt. How can your apply for a job if you don't know the name of a company or have any idea what it does?
Yeah I see ads like those too. It had one in the Guardian saying "personal assistant needed" a while back. Police do very little, that's why the only thing I have faith in right now is my bullet and my rifle.
