Businessman shot and killed

A 35 year old man was shot and killed while walking along the roadway close to his business place on Lady Young,Morvant.
Kevin Polin of Upper Lady Young Morvant at about 1.30 p.m was walking towards a tint shop which he and is brother operated when he was approached by a man which had emerged from a dirt tract located near the business place and after a brief exchange of words with Polin the assailant pulled out a firearm and shot him several times in his body before fleeing through the track.

But on a serious note the crime rate in Trinidad becoming ridiculous now some people trying to make a honest living and have to live in fear of doing the right thing now.................steupes we need to curb this growing crime rate and fast

Looks like we need bullet proof vests just to go for a walk now. Hope the shooter is caught and justice prevails. I cannot imagine what his loved ones must be experiencing.

that aint stopping them nah...all of them want to make a quick cash instead of going and study their work and look for a job which they will be sure to have stable income instead of robbing and killing people steupess

True, it would be easier to take from others but what about a sense of dignity in knowing you worked hard to achieve something? We have to be afraid of going out at night and in the middle of the day too. How are we really supposed to live?

Or rather asking these businessmen how they can setup their own business and make some legit money if they dont want to work.for anybody else.

Youll never really know the true motives behind the killing. Could have been a dose of bad service or something too.

Just last week a 22yr old businessman with a mini mart was kidnapped. Luckily they didnt kill him. These days people have to question everything and everyone around them because people are waiting to make moves when you are caught offguard
