Just wanted to share with you guys that AVG has updated its antivirus software on the desktop and it's up for grabs as a free download and also paid software. If you plan on downloading it for free, you have to get a product key that will unlock the other options that are on the antivirus.
I have recently downloaded it and can tell you it's a huge upgrade from the 2012 version. A new UI is in place and resembles the Windows 8 look and it runs 10x faster than last years.
All the features are pretty much the same, although the "Scan Now" and "Update" buttons are located underneath the other options for quick access.
