It seem the ball keeps going down-hill for Sony and their Playstation 3 console. The top US-based game publisher said that they may stop making games for the console, because it is too expensive to develop games for it. Plus to add insult to injury the console isn't selling like it "was" expected to. Apparently developing games for the PS3 is a little more difficult and expensive than developing for other consoles. This is nothing new for the Sony camp. Their console is too highly priced. But to be fair to Sony, the parts they use to manufacture the console is also expensive. Specs wise, the PS3 is the most advanced console on market. Sony is already losing money on every PS3 that they sell. So to ask the company to drop the price on the PS3 will be met with a lot of resistance... read more here: http://tech.yahoo.com/news/nm/us_activision_sony;_ylt=Ar11tvTYZ7Y18NUpnz5GbsH6L5A5

Thats really bad news if game designers turn away from the ps3 people will also, new games must be created often to keep the user's interest and as you said the PS3 sales is not doing well, nope the economy as it is today don't cause sony to crash
