Here are the dimensions for subs that fit behind the Hilux/Vigo rear seat. Seat fits back original with these dimensions.
Net 2.5 cu ft after 5/8s material subtraction. Perfect for a pair of slim subs.
Net 1.454 cu ft after 5/8s material subtraction. Will fit a DD 500 series 8" or 2.
To remove the seat: Fold up and unbolt the 4 bolts that hold the seat to the floor. 2 on either side. Then lift up the backrest and slide out. Get a helper to make things easy.
Seat will not fold up using the second set of dimensions what so ever. To make unbolting easy once installed, remove plastic trim over the bolt securing the backrest to the bench when reinstalling seat.
