This Diesel Locomotive was photographed on the Caroni 1975 Ltd "Brechin Castle" compound. Built by the Vulcan Iron Works in 1948. This engine was purchased by the previous company (Tate and Lyle) to replace the old oil fired Steam Locomotives. Tracks can also be seen within the company vicinity.
I found this picture of the rescued St Madelaine Sugar Factory Locomotive "Picton". It now resides back home in Leeds UK. Built in 1927. An old employee of the factory told me that the engine was condemned and left to rot @ Cedar Hill sidings since the 1950's!
